    Just so some people understand, if you purchased this, yes, you get what is on the CDs. As for the review that talks about the 9 disc version, the box set gives you 6CDs and 3 Blu-ray’s of the concert sections. Yes, Badge and Hoodoo Man are missing, but that that is not iTunes fault. They are not on the updated version of the CDs. To give such a bad review because two songs are not on a package that iTunes is putting out is just wrong. If you liked the 1990 version, awesome, but this is basically the same with more. Something had to give. I really like this version as well. The 3 sections (Rock, Blues, Orchestral) of the concerts are cool. As well as the Blu-ray’s. Glad to purchase this set!

    Lots to love in this set, but almost all has been released in equally fine (or better) versions before,. Like the stuff with Buddy Guy, of course, but not going to spend 30 bucks for 20 songs I already have 3-4 versions of to get My Time After a While (FYI: Buddy issued a brilliant 7-minute version on his The Real Deal album). The orchestral stuff is worth a listen, but most Clapton fans have more definitive versions. This longtime fan is a bit disappointed despite the massive hype.

    This version was f 24 Nights is missing at least 2 songs from the original release - “Badge” and “Hoodoo Man.” Additionally, the new cd release is 9 discs compared to release not 3 here.

  • Eric Clapton’s Renaissance Period…

    By far, my favorite Eric Clapton period is from 1989 to 1999. 24 Nights is really the concert that reinvigorated his career as it was shortly after his Blues comeback album “Journeyman.” This is a must have for Clapton fans, but I would heartily recommend this to anyone who loves Blues based rock. You could book end this with the “Nothing But the Blues” album as well and see just how incredible this period was in Clapton’s playing. Thanks to EC for releasing this digitally and I know anyone who purchases will get a lifetime of enjoyment in listening to this music.
