My favorite kind of music, one man and an acoustic guitar. Every song on this album (except Mother) is great with great acoustic blues guitar work and lyrics. Show's how brilliant and talented a musician G. Love actually is especially when he busts out the harmonica. He invented a genre of music with this CD that is completely his. I'm trying to think of which is the best song, they're all great, probably check out "What's Goin On" and if you like that buy the rest of the album.

This album is so great. I wish he would go back to the simple days of the 4 track. out with the new in with the old

This is definitely an album for the fans, which will reveal where the man came from and how he got his start. Excellent material in its raw form. I love it when people who have no idea what they are talking about write reviews. If you took the time to read the album title you would see what kind of album this is, but no some people are clueless. If you gave it one star you’re probably not a fan so why waste your time with a review.

more like lo-quality. Is there anything impressive about this work? The guitar is bad, the singing is bad, why would he go and release this? It seems like something you would only play for friends and family and otherwise keep it locked up... but its selling so....

This guy is horrible!!! Why would anyone ever want to listen to this junk? "Shootin' Hoops" is one of the gayest, most pointless songs I've ever heard. DON'T BUY ANY SONGS!

Nice. I haven't heard this since 1993 on cassette! I forgot what it sounded like after being shocked by the new sound that came with the released album and the re-makes of many of the tracks. New Years resolution to swim more mainstream pays-off. Sweet upside (triumph?) of the ubercapitalist apple cult!

No need to rehash what everyone else has said regarding this being the early demos. Just had to mention that nothing beats the self-titled album, which many of these lyrics made their way on to. Lemonade's ok, but it seems as if the bluesy hip-hop-rock he was once a master of is no longer on his agenda. Too bad.
