I doubt these guys have heard the random DIY acts this albums reminds me of (A Minor Forest, Neutral Milk Hotel etc) but the music is remarkable stuff. It’s a departure from their first fantastic album, but once you settle into it, it will stick with you for awhile.
The vocalist is … a revelation. His lyrics and delivery are otherworldly. Different than “For The First Time,” but just as piercing.

Really enjoyed this album. It is chock full of musical references while remaining its own thing. I caught hints of early Arcade Fire, Interpol, Cap'n Jazz, WU LYF, Murder by Death, and a couple dozen other influences (that may or may not really be there). However, the band is able to take these influences and create a highly layered piece of pop folk. Great stuff.
A Masterpiece

This album sounds like a classic on first listen. The music combines art rock, indie rock, prog rock, and baroque pop into one incredible musical adventure. Highly recommended.

Lyrically and instrumentally thought-provoking full of these little moments that grab you and leave you wondering what’s around the corner. It’s just so good
