Mercyme, I love Even if and Best News Ever, but a few advice, in Grace Got you, the line just got away with something, it’s like sin,but I understand you’re just trying your best, still I love this album!

I think the song Grace Got You really missed the mark on its lyrics. The idea that Christians should be laughing about how they "just got away with something" is hideous. Jesus did not go to the cross so that we can wink at sin and chuckle about how we got by with something. It trivializes sin. It's a shame because the song is really upbeat and catchy if you don't think about what it's saying. The song Even If is a good one, though.
MercyMe caves to stupid producers

I LOVE Best News Ever and Even If. Otherwise, this is a poor album. MercyMe's production team exapnded to include Solomon Olds, David Garcia, and other people who help write pretty much all CCM songs out there. Now even MercyMe sounds cliche. The songs are repetitive with boring synth instrumentation and annoying sound effects. Grace Got You is by far the worst track on this album--sounds like an extended product jingle.
Several number ones!
