Ian, Live and CL are the musical trio I never knew I needed until I heard this collab. The transition from Ian singing the chorus to CL taking it over is flawless, her voice expresses the mood effortlessly and Live comes in to round everything out and enhance the song even more with his smooth AF rapping. It’s absolute perfection. With each song I fall more in love with Ian’s talent and that’s a drug in dangerous doses. He knows exactly what he’s doing- making us Happy Hostages to each song until he sets us free with another release...only to make us experience it all over again, a ferocious but extremely pleasant cycle. No Blueberries will make you fall asleep with its sweet sounds in your head, just for you to wake up having it still there. And I can’t lie, I’m loving every minute of it.
