What can't Billy Porter do? This man can act, dance, dress up for the Red Carpet, compose, produce, direct, write and SANG his butt off!! Though I was introduced to him a few years back watching his win Tony and Grammy Awards for his role in the Broadway musical "Kinky Boots," I slept on him until 2018 when he landed the Emmy Award-winning role of "Pray Tell" in the breakout LGBTQ television show "POSE". "Untitled" is his debut recording and though it was released more than 23 years ago, Porter's vocals are always timeless. From the opening R&B ballad "Show Me" to the tender pop closer of the title cut, every song on this CD is AMAZ-ING!!! Favorites of mine are "Love Is On the Way" from the movie "The First Wives Club", "I'll Do Anything", "Maybe I'm Amazed" and "Lullaby". I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this CD to anyone who enjoys GREAT SINGING and excellent musical production. Check out Porter's other CDs on iTunes, too. All worth a listen.
