I’m 30 years old and I’ve heard a lot of different sounds. This sound—It’s moody, but upbeat. Dark, but enlightening. “Lost”, but found. It’s best described as the sound of a new generation. It takes synth sounds from the 80s and inspo from teenage years of the past, but at the same time, so undeniably current that it seems to transcend time and space. It’s as if the lingering whispers of every teenager from every decade past got together and let out one last cry. Reminding us all that we were once that little boy or little girl walking down hallway after hallway searching for our classes and that we inevitably found ourselves, but lost parts of ourselves as well...
Never knew who Jai or Chelsea Jade were till this song. A must purchase song for sure. Highly recommend.
