I found out about these musicians via Wednesday Campanella. Their song together wasn't that great (the distorted vocals was a miss), but the singer intriged me enough to check out this album.
Man am I happy I did so! Listening to Cité Champagne was almost like discovering Air or old school Royksopp for the first time. Reptile, Planète Tokyo, Star, the alt. version of Langage, the end of Helena are so catchy in an off-beat way that I've had this album on repeat for a week straight just listening out for new soundscapes I didn't notice the first time around.
It's a great album. A couple of songs could have been cut, but this album is up there somewhere amongst my favorites.
