Tears from Heaven

This is Efisio's sophomore project. I would have given it 5 stars except as a fellow entertainer, I know that there is always room for improvement. You can certainly hear how Efisio has progressed in this album since his "Rose of Sharon" album. With this project, Efisio brings Heaven down to earth and it collides with humanity in an epic way. Don't believe me? Close your eyes as you listen. What do you see? What do you hear? What do you feel? "Throne of God" brings the majesty of a realm unknown to us into our thoughts. What sounds like the initial heartbeat of God is joined with the Heavenly hosts who bring that heartbeat to life. "A Sacrifice to Save You" was actually a single before this album was released. You can hear the agony and love in the harmonious melody. "King of the Lost" gives you that feeling that we all experience in life in the simple melody and culminates it with peaceful melodies that bring peace to your thoughts. "All Heroes Suffer" again was a single before the release. You feel the hero within you meeting your greatest challenge as the music climbs to what you can imagine as a the greatest triumph. "Apostle Paul" Do I really even need to say anything about this one? If you have not studied the Apostle Paul, then do so. This song will bring his life to life for you. Better yet, listen to this track as you study. "Sacred Wildlife" This is a really different sound for Efisio. He has stated that this was the first track he was able to get the African feel into his music. He did a beautiful job in doing so. I love the drums as they pound out the beat, the horns as they collide with nature, and the synthesized voices as they cry out as if to add a melodious wildness to the track. "Tears From Heaven" wow! This track was written during a very hard time in Efisio's life. You can read about it on his page. But as someone who recently lost a family member, this track makes me cry every time I hear it. Losing a loved one is never easy. But through this track you can hear the loss and then the struggle of mending through the pain. "Prince of Nature" again this is a different sound for Efisio. He seems to bringing in a tropical theme here. After listening to Tears from Heaven, it's refreshing. I dare you to try not to boogie to this track as you listen! "Yeshua Loves You" Again, I don't think I need to explain this track. The title says it all. If you are an epic music lover, trailer music lover, whatever you want to call it lover this album is for you. If you have never heard this kind of music before, give Efisio a try. I promise that you will not be disappointed by what you hear!
