Singer Yemi Alade is known for her acting skills in music videos and is now venturing into the film industry with her first movie role in Funke Akindele‘s upcoming film Omo Ghetto: The Saga.
Alade will be portraying the character Mogambo, a gang leader, with street-hop music artist Slimcase and actor Itele d Icon playing the roles of Eruku and Jerhico, members of her gang.
The movie also stars actors like Alex Ekubo, Eniola Badmus, Chioma Akpotha, AY The Comedian, alongside Yemi Alade from her music video for the song “Johnny.”
Yemi Alade has released promotional photos for the movie to confirm her involvement, and the film is scheduled for release soon.
