Reports from Variety reveal that the upcoming Paris Olympic Games Closing Ceremony is set to feature performances from iconic rapper Snoop Dogg, pop sensation Billie Eilish, and the renowned rock band Red Hot Chili Peppers. Scheduled for Sunday, the trio will partake in the symbolic handover of the Summer Olympics from Paris to Los Angeles, mixing pre-recorded and live acts.
Additionally, Variety discloses that Hollywood star Tom Cruise will showcase a stunt during the event. Following the Closing Ceremony, Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass will accept the Olympic Torch, symbolizing the transition back to Los Angeles as the host city for the 2028 Summer Olympics.
Notably, all three performers – Snoop Dogg, Billie Eilish, and Red Hot Chili Peppers – hail from Los Angeles. Snoop Dogg previously had the honor of carrying the Olympic Torch at the opening of the Paris Games.
