Justin Timberlake’s mugshot has surfaced following his recent arrest for driving while intoxicated in Sag Harbor. The photo displays him with reddened, glassy eyes after being apprehended for allegedly disregarding a stop sign and swerving out of his lane in the early hours of Tuesday, June 18, in the Hamptons.
Authorities on the scene noted that Timberlake exhibited signs of intoxication, including bloodshot, glassy eyes, the smell of alcohol on his breath, impaired attention, slowed speech, instability while standing, and poor performance on sobriety evaluations, according to the legal accusations.
After being stopped, Timberlake declined to take a breathalyzer test, adamantly refusing with statements like, “No, I’m not doing a chemical test. I refuse! I refuse!” The entertainer asserted to the officers that he had only consumed ‘just one martini’. He was evidently unsteady on his feet and unsuccessful in the sobriety tests administered. Law enforcement had observed him failing to maintain his lane before pulling him over.
Timberlake was arraigned in Suffolk County court later that morning for charges related to driving under the influence, running a stop sign, and lane violation. He was subsequently freed without bail and is expected to appear in court again on July 26.
