Falz, the popular Nigerian singer and rapper, recently shared his views on what he finds attractive in a woman. In an interview on the ‘Morning Rush Show’ with Bibi Rai, he discussed how his priorities have evolved beyond physical appearance when it comes to relationships. Despite not having been in a romantic relationship since he was 18, Falz highlighted the significance of a person’s energy and aura.
He mentioned that his focus has been on other aspects of his life, which has led him to not feel prepared for a committed relationship. Falz emphasized the importance of qualities such as energy and aura over superficial traits like physical appearance, indicating a shift in his preferences.
Reflecting on his past relationship experiences, Falz shared, “My last relationship was when I was 18 years old, back in 2008. I’m not avoiding relationships, but various circumstances have made it feel like a rollercoaster journey, and I haven’t felt ready.” He underscored the significance of energy and swag, moving away from previously valuing superficial attributes like skin tone or physical features.
“The aura, the energy, the swag. When I say the aura, I don’t mean that loosely; I’m coming from a realm where I thought I liked light skin or babes with big breasts, among other fickle things. I am in a realm where it is about the kind of energy you ooze.”
It’s worth noting that Simi previously revealed a shared history with Falz. During an interview on Angela Yee’s podcast, ‘Way Up,’ she clarified misconceptions about their relationship, emphasizing their musical collaboration rather than a romantic connection. Both artists have a joint EP and teased a new song together scheduled for release later this month.
