A surprise guest, Afrobeat sensation Davido, attended the debut album listening party of his fellow musician Victony in Lagos. The event, celebrating Victony’s album “Stubborn,” drew a large audience, with Davido showing his support by joining the enthusiastic crowd in Lagos State.
Victony shared insights into some of the album tracks, mentioning that the song “History” reflected his personal experiences growing up and paid tribute to his roots in Ojo. Regarding the track “Risk,” he revealed that it stemmed from a spontaneous session that evolved into something extraordinary. Victony recounted how a simple text message to the renowned Nigerian music producer and DJ, P.Prime, led to the creation of the sixth track on the album.
