Their early albums, Los Angeles and Wild Gift, produced with Ray Manzarek, showcased their pivotal role in shaping punk rock. Their appearance in the documentary The Decline Of Western Civilization solidified their status as punk icons. Their upcoming album, Smoke & Fiction, produced by Rob Schnapf, promises to revisit their signature punk sound. The lead single “Big Black X” captures the raw energy and rockabilly spirit of their early work, setting the tone for their final tour.
