The San Diego-based emo/indie band Weatherbox has a history of sporadic music releases, but when they do come back, they make it worthwhile. Brian Warren and the band recently debuted “Manson Dust,” their first new song in nearly ten years, and now they’ve followed up with “God’s House.”
“Manson Dust” gradually unfolds, starting with a raw, tension-filled intro that transitions into a jazzy, progressive middle section before culminating in a powerful conclusion. Warren expresses feelings of confusion, singing, “I just know something still feels wrong,” and reflecting on forgotten issues. The new track “God’s House” also builds momentum, telling a story about a daring escape. Check out both songs below, and keep an eye out for news about a potential new album!
