In July, W. H. Lung revealed their upcoming album titled Every Inch Of Earth Pulsates along with the single “How To Walk.” They followed this up last month with another release, “The Painting Of The Bay,” and today, the Manchester-based synthpop band has shared a new track, “Bloom And Fade.”
Joseph Evans, the band’s vocalist, shared his experience writing “Bloom And Fade,” stating that the lyrics felt as if they emerged spontaneously from deep within him. Although he crafted the song without drawing from personal experiences at the time, he later found himself living through the themes it describes months later, leading him to adjust the last verse to match his reality. Recording it, he felt a sense of familiarity and belonging.
