Heriot Unleashes Their Powerful Debut Album
Almost a year ago, we highlighted the British metalcore band Heriot as a group to keep an eye on. Today, they have launched their first album, titled Devoured By The Mouth Of Hell.
This title perfectly captures the intense experience of their music. The album relentlessly delivers harsh and heavy sounds, with guitars that are as brutal as Debbie Gough’s powerful vocals. The drumming and bass create an aggressively immersive atmosphere. Amidst the relentless heaviness, listeners will occasionally encounter soaring guitar solos and signature riffs reminiscent of Dimebag Darrell, particularly in tracks like “Harm Sequence” and “Sentenced To The Blade.” Additionally, moments of eerie ambiance and melodic clean vocals shine through in tracks like “Opaline.” When they dive into their darker tones, the result is an overwhelmingly thrilling experience.
Every band only gets one chance for a debut, and Heriot’s offering is a spectacular showcase that establishes them as one of the standout acts in their genre. Enjoy the album below.
Devoured By The Mouth Of Hell is now available through Century Media.
