Next month, Trauma Ray will launch their first full album, Chameleon. This shoegaze band from Fort Worth has previously shared the track “Bishop” and now returns with a new song called “Spectre.”
Vocalist Uri Avila shared insights about the haunting nature of the song, saying, “Many of us hold onto our own ghosts. This track is meant to linger with you, urging you to confront and release the harmful things or people in your life. The ‘Spectre’ in the song questions why you cling to something that brings pain. It desires your healing and wishes to be freed, feeling exhausted and ready to move on, but you keep holding on. I crafted these lyrics hoping to empower listeners dealing with similar feelings to find the courage to let go.”

Chameleon will be released on October 25 through Dais.
