New Single Release: The Linda Lindas – “Yo Me Estreso” (Featuring “Weird Al” Yankovic)
The band, The Linda Lindas, recently announced their upcoming album, No Obligation, by dropping the track “All In My Head.” This was followed by the releases of “Too Many Things” and “Resolution / Revolution.” Today, the group returns with a fresh single titled “Yo Me Estreso,” featuring a guest appearance by “Weird Al” Yankovic on the accordion.
In a statement, band member Bela Salazar described the song as being about constant stress, anxiety, and the misconception of people being angry at you when they are not. The track draws inspiration from genres like corridos tumbados, banda, and Duranguense, infused with the band’s unique punk style.
Recently, the band was also featured on the soundtrack for Yo Gabba GabbaLand! along with artists like Kurt Vile, Ty Segall, and Thundercat. You can listen to “Yo Me Estreso” below.
The album No Obligation is set to be released on 10/11 through Epitaph.
