Lunar Vacation is back with their new album, Everything Matters, Everything’s Fire, following their debut release in 2021. The lead single, “Set The Stage,” is now available and showcases a unique blend of indie rock.

The song, described as a fuzzy and emotionally intense beauty, was inspired by vocalist and guitarist Gep Repasky’s personal experience with love. The music video for the track, directed by Finn Wolfhard from Stranger Things, complements the atmospheric sound and features captivating dance choreography.

The band’s journey, including emotional challenges that led to hospitalization, heavily influenced the new album’s content. Produced by Drew Vandenberg, Lunar Vacation drew inspiration from artists like Yo La Tengo and Björk. Guitarist and vocalist Maggie Geeslin highlighted the organic approach to this album, embracing imperfections to enhance the musical experience.
