Sunset Rubdown – Song Review: “Cliche Town”

Sunset Rubdown – “Cliche Town”

Sunset Rubdown, who recently reunited, is set to release their first album in 15 years titled Always Happy To Explode. After the announcement with the lead single “Reappearing Rat,” they have now unveiled “Cliche Town.”

Unlike the more upbeat “Reappearing Rat,” “Cliche Town” is a six-minute piano ballad that starts off slow and gradually builds into a dramatic conclusion with lively drum beats. You can listen to it below:

Always Happy To Explode is scheduled to be released on 9/20 via Pronounced Kroog.
