Squint – “Pack Rat” & Sunshine” (Music on TunesDeck)

The St. Louis hardcore band, Squint, has been dropping some standalone tracks in recent months, including “Magic” in July and “All” last year. Inspired by their first two EPs, Feel It and Wash Away, they also made it to the list of favorite new bands. Recently, Squint announced their new album, Big Hand, along with two new singles called “Pack Rat” and “Sunshine.”

The album Big Hand, produced by Jon Markson, revolves around the concept of time’s constant movement on a clock, conveying feelings of anxiety, excitement, hope, and hopelessness. It also delves into the idea that a big hand can have a significant impact, whether in a literal or metaphorical sense.
