Soccer Mommy – “M” (Music on TunesDeck)

Soccer Mommy’s Sophie Allison performed new songs at an intimate Queens show in June, including the single “Lost,” later released. These tracks are part of the upcoming album Evergreen, set to be released in October. Another new single, titled “M,” has been unveiled.

Following a personal loss, Allison penned Evergreen. Collaborating with Daniel Lopatin for 2022’s Sometimes, Forever, this album marks a return to her original style but on a grander scale. “M” exemplifies this, incorporating various guitar layers to create a rich texture without being overwhelming. The lyrics reflect a poignant reflection on someone or something absent. The tracklist for the album is as follows:
