Tyler Mullen, who previously fronted Year Of The Knife, has taken the lead in Scarab, a hardcore band that hails from Philadelphia. This energetic group also includes members from bands like Simulakra, Seed Of Pain, and Envision. Known for their wild live performances over the past few years, Scarab has already put out a notable demo as well as an impressive EP named Seeking Chaos And Revenge After Betrayal. They have now launched a new two-track single.
The latest release from Scarab is the single titled 3 Minute Detonator, which is aptly named for its total playtime of three minutes. The first track, “Tetanus,” features a riff that invites an exhilarating burst of energy, while “Untitled” carries a heightened sense of aggression, possibly due to its lack of a title. Listen to both tracks below.
Currently, 3 Minute Detonator is available through Rebirth Records.
