Saba & No ID: The Ultimate Guide to Captivating the Divine

Saba & No ID – “How To Impress God”

For quite some time, two prominent names in the Chicago rap scene, Saba and producer No ID, have been gearing up for a new joint release. Their upcoming project, titled From The Private Collection Of Saba And No ID, has been teased through tracks like “Back In Office,” “hue_man nature,” and the collaboration “head.rap” featuring Madison McFerrin, Ogi, and Jordan Ward. Although there was silence regarding the album’s progression after Saba’s Pivot Gang dropped “Who At The Door” a few weeks back, it turns out the duo is still very much in the studio working on new music.

Their latest track, “How to Impress God,” delves into themes of spiritual uncertainty. Set against No ID’s dynamic and evolving production, Saba reflects on a hypothetical dialogue with a higher power. He presents his achievements but realizes that they hold no weight in the eyes of the divine. Accompanied by a visually striking Andrew Kim-directed video, the performance features a split-screen format displaying the lyrics as Saba delivers his verses. Watch it below.

The release of From The Private Collection Of Saba And No ID is anticipated from ARTium. Be sure to check out our interview with No ID titled We’ve Got A File On You linked here.
