The members of Blackpink are thriving in their individual pursuits. LISA has put out three tracks this year, including her collaboration with Rosalía on “New Woman.” JENNIE recently premiered “Mantra.” Meanwhile, ROSÉ is gearing up for her first album titled rosie, and has teamed up with Bruno Mars for her lead single, “APT.”
ROSÉ shares that “APT” is inspired by her favorite Korean drinking game. “It’s simple and brings joy, helping to ease conversations at gatherings. One night while recording, I introduced the game to my team, and they loved it, especially when I started the chant. It sparked the idea to create a song, and once Bruno came on board, everything clicked!”
The track “APT” features the production talents of Mars, Cirkut, Omer Fedi, and Rogét Chahayed. A music video, directed by Daniel Ramos alongside Mars, has also been released. Check it out below.
rosie is set to release on December 6 through Atlantic Records/THEBLACKLABEL. You can pre-order it here.
