Ahead of the release of Blair Howerton’s new indie-folk album, Wish On The Bone, the project Why Bonnie has already shared a few early tracks like “Dotted Line,” “Fake Out,” and “Rhyme Or Reason.” Now, Howerton unveils one final song, “Three Big Moons,” which is a tender ballad featuring rustic melodies and poignant fiddles. Despite its traditional sound, a press release reveals that the song is set in a fictional setting on a different planet. Howerton describes it as a reflection on the duality of isolation, being both comforting and lonely. Take a listen to the song below.
The album Wish On The Bone will be available on 8/30 through Fire Talk.
