Review of “Traditions” by Dawn Richard & Spencer Zahn

Dawn Richard & Spencer Zahn – “Traditions”

Dawn Richard and Spencer Zahn, known for their previous collaboration on the album “Pigments,” are back with a new project titled “Quiet In A World Full Of Noise.” The duo recently released a new single, “Traditions,” following their successful track “Breath Out.”

Unlike their usual complex style, “Traditions” showcases a simpler and elegant approach with piano and acoustic bass dominating the music. Richard’s gentle vocals narrate about family and heritage in a personal and conversational manner.

Spencer Zahn mentioned in a press release that Richard’s emotional delivery in the song resonated with him and inspired him to create a composition that captures that emotional connection. The duo is set to embark on a limited tour, with tour dates listed below.
