Why Bonnie, recognized as one of 2022’s Best New Bands, recently released the single “Dotted Line.” The creator, Blair Howerton, has now revealed a forthcoming album named Wish On The Bone, set to be released in August. To tease the album, she has introduced another single titled “Fake Out.”
The song “Fake Out” is highlighted as the most energetic track on Wish On The Bone, standing out from the dreamy folk-rock sound of Why Bonnie’s previous album, 90 In November. The song’s visualizer shows Howerton wandering around Brooklyn with a mask on, reflecting the theme of concealing one’s true identity expressed in the lyrics: “It’s not my face I imitate,” sings Howerton.
