The band Peter Cat Recording Co. from Delhi, also known as “the last remaining band in India,” recently embarked on their first American tour. Their upcoming album, BETA, is on the horizon, and they have already released the first single “People Never Change.” Now, they have unveiled a new track titled “Suddenly,” which touches the heart.
“Suddenly” was penned by the band’s singer/guitarist, Suryakant Sawhney, as a tribute to his parents. The song is characterized by a mix of horns and bossa nova guitar, creating a fun and playful vibe musically. The lyrics are deeply emotional, reflecting Sawhney’s personal journey. The accompanying music video, directed by Sawhney, features the band dressed as sailors and includes a poignant moment where his mother listens to the song for the first time and becomes emotional.
