In the upcoming month, Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds are set to launch their latest album Wild God. Preceding this, they have already presented singles like the title track and “Frogs,” with their latest release being “Long Dark Night.”
Describing the inspiration behind “Long Dark Night,” Cave mentioned, “’Long Dark Night’ is drawn from one of the most remarkable poems of conversion ever penned known as ‘Dark Night Of The Soul’ by St. John of the Cross. Nevertheless, it stands as a beautiful country melody and complements the track ‘Wild God’.”
