Review of “Mind Train” by Cornelius on TunesDeck

Cornelius – “Mind Train”

The return of Cornelius is nothing short of remarkable. After releasing his album “Dream In Dream” in June 2023 and the single “Too Much Love For Sauna (Falling Deep)” a year later, he recently launched an ambient album called “Ethereal Essence.” Now, the avant-pop artist from Japan presents his newest track, “Mind Train.”

“Mind Train” is a nine-minute journey propelled by a meandering guitar riff and pulsating synths. It builds up gradually, leading to moments of ethereal tranquility before picking up its pace again. Experience it below.

In addition, Cornelius has revealed a series of performances along the West Coast for September, marking his first North American tour in five years. Tickets can be found here.
