Louis Cole is set to release his new album, nothing, in August. Prior to its launch, he released singles like “Things Will Fall Apart,” “Life,” and “These Dreams Are Killing Me,” with the title track of the album being revealed today.
The earlier singles from nothing showcased Cole’s ability to blend traditional orchestral music with pop, but the track “nothing” leans more towards classical music. This piece is an instrumental interlude with a focus on strings, exuding a strongly cinematic quality. A performance of this track by the Dutch Metropole Orkest can be seen in the video below.
The album nothing is scheduled to be released on 8/9 through Brainfeeder.
