The band Wings Of Desire, inspired by a Wim Wenders film, is set to release a new EP titled Shut Up & Listen. The EP supports a community project in their hometown. Their song “OUTTAMYMIND” has already been shared, and now they present the track “Forgive & Forget.”
“Forgive & Forget” by Wings Of Desire features a distinctive rock sound beneath layers of gauze and reverb, reminiscent of bands like Japandroids. The band explains the song’s theme:
“Forgive & Forget” explores how we often rely on others instead of trusting ourselves. By doing so, we give up our power and responsibility. The band urges for a shift towards community empowerment and away from centralized power structures.”
