Review of “Fantasy” by Lunar Vacation

Lunar Vacation – “Fantasy”

Lunar Vacation, the Atlanta indie band, is gearing up for their upcoming album Everything Matters, Everything’s Fire. Their recent singles like “Set The Stage,” “Sick,” and “Tom” have already gained popularity, and their latest track “Fantasy” continues to impress. The song is a gentle indie rock ballad that slowly evolves into a beautiful composition. Gep Repasky, the band’s frontperson, shares insight into the inspiration behind the track:

“Fantasy” delves into my daydreams, which can sometimes be hard to escape. It explores the comfort of living in one’s own imagination and observing scenarios internally. The song is crafted to convey a sense of isolation, starting with just guitar and vocals in the verse and then transitioning into a full-band sound, mimicking an intrusive thought.

Everything Matters, Everything’s Fire will be available on 9/13 via Keeled Scales.
