ELUCID, known as one half of Armand Hammer, has been active with various projects. Recently, the duo dropped their album We Buy Diabetic Test Strips, followed by collaborations with Benjamin Booker and RP Boo. ELUCID now unveils his solo project REVELATOR after his 2022 album I Told Bessie.
REVELATOR showcases ELUCID’s experimental side, crafted with Jon Nellen, and featuring Luke Stewart. Describing the album, ELUCID aims for a unique and unfamiliar sound experience, pushing artistic boundaries.
The lead single from the album, “INSTANT TRANSFER,” features billy woods and blends their distinct styles. The self-produced track “SLUM OF A DISREGARD” offers an even more unconventional auditory journey. The album includes a lineup of tracks such as “THE WORLD IS DOG” and “BAD POLLEN” featuring billy woods.
Enjoy the tracks and anticipate the release of REVELATOR on 10/11 via Fat Possum. ELUCID’s moniker styling may have evolved, but the music remains the focus.
