Quivers – “Pink Smoke” (Music on TunesDeck)

Quivers, the Melbourne alt-rock group, recently launched their latest single “Pink Smoke” following their signing to Merge and the announcement of their upcoming album, Oyster Cuts. The band had previously released “Apparition” earlier this year.

Sam Richardson shared his perspective on the new song, stating, “The song embodies a slow, deep kind of love that is discovered and rediscovered by truly getting to know someone and creating shared stories. It reflects the allure of both reminiscing about the past and looking towards the future.” He further elaborated on the inspiration behind the music video, expressing his initial idea involving his parents in their 70s engaging in activities amidst the wintry Tasmania mountains.

The album Oyster Cuts is scheduled to be released on 8/9 by Merge.
