New Music Release: Lil Yachty & Veeze Team Up for “Sorry Not Sorry” on TunesDeck

Lil Yachty & Veeze – “Sorry Not Sorry”

Lil Yachty continues to stay active in the music scene. Following the release of his collaborative album with James Blake called Bad Cameo in June, he has been dropping a series of rap singles. Recently, he released tracks like “Let’s Get On Dey Ass,” “Hate Me” with Ian, and featured on Mike WiLL Made-It’s “High3r” alongside Lil Wayne. Now, Lil Yachty has teamed up with Detroit’s rap star Veeze for a new track.

Veeze, known as a cult favorite in the music industry, gained recognition with the release of Ganger, a highly acclaimed rap album from last year. In recent months, Veeze released the solo single “Pop Yo Shit” and collaborated with Rylo Rodriguez on “FAF.” The connection between Veeze and Lil Yachty dates back to Yachty’s 2021 mixtape Michigan Boat Boy, where Veeze was featured on three tracks. Yachty also had an interlude on Veeze’s Ganger album.

Their latest single, “Sorry Not Sorry,” features Veeze and Lil Yachty exchanging verses over a beat produced by K4 and 183zman. Both artists showcase their lyrical prowess. Veeze raps, “Rolls truck all brown, that shit stank/ And my wrist all green like my watch fake,” while Yachty delivers lines like, “I ain’t talkin’ ’bout no TV shows, but I still got Bear in this bitch/ I had to figure it out the hard way — no, I don’t care, lil bitch.” The music video, directed by AMD Visuals and Little Miles, plays with light and shadow to create a visually striking aesthetic.

“Sorry Not Sorry” is now available on Quality Control/Motown.
