Olof Dreijer, known for his recent EP “Coral” and remixes of Björk and Rosalía’s “Oral,” has collaborated with Diva Cruz on a new EP titled “Brujas.” The lead single has been released, marking an exciting venture for the Swedish DJ and producer.
Expressing his enthusiasm, Dreijer shared, “I’m thrilled to share this music with the world after spending years working on it. Collaborating with Diva has been a rewarding experience for me. She has introduced me to new musical realms, and I continue to grow and learn through our collaboration, especially in our live performances where we explore percussion together.”
Diva Cruz added her perspective, saying, “My goal is to empower those who feel marginalized with my lyrics. It’s disheartening to see children enjoying music created by male artists with degrading lyrics towards women, who are then celebrated with prestigious awards. I envision a world where Latin America, in particular, shifts away from machismo perspectives and works together towards a more inclusive future.”
In addition to his solo work, Dreijer is also part of the electronic duo The Knife, while Diva Cruz is a Colombian percussionist, vocalist, songwriter, and DJ based in Stockholm.
Tracklist:
