Kesha is back with her latest single “Joyride” after separating from Dr. Luke’s Kemosabe Records in December. The high-energy pop song debuted at Planet Pride in NYC and was also performed for fans at a gas station shortly after.
“Joyride” is released just ahead of Katy Perry’s upcoming track “Woman’s World,” which was produced by Dr. Luke. Perry’s collaboration with Dr. Luke led to Kesha expressing her dismay through social media posts.
In response to Perry working with the producer, Kesha shared a tweet and later wore an “lol” shirt during a photoshoot at a gas station in LA as a form of ironic commentary.
The song “Joyride” was co-written by Kesha alongside Madison Love and Zhone, with Zhone handling the production. Listen to the track below.
