Seefeel Announce First New Album In 13 Years

Seefeel, a ’90s British band known for blending shoegaze and electronic music, have announced their first album in 13 years. The band, which was the first to feature guitars on Warp Records, went on hiatus in 1997, returning in 2009. Their new six-song mini-LP, titled Everything Squared, marks their latest release since their self-titled comeback album in 2011.

The album features Seefeel’s core members, Mark Clifford and Sarah Peacock, operating as a duo. Shigeru Ishihara, also known as DJ Scotch Egg, who was part of Seefeel during their self-titled album, plays guitar on two tracks. The opening track “Sky Hooks” is a six-minute moody, glitchy instrumental piece that hints at connections to Kareem Abdul-Jabbar.

Seefeel has announced upcoming UK shows along with the release of Everything Squared. Below is the tracklist for the album and the band’s tour dates:
