Lone Justice Announce First New Album In 38 Years

Lone Justice, a country rock band from Los Angeles, previously active from 1982 to 1987, is making a comeback after 37 years with their latest album.

Titled Viva Lone Justice, the album consists of 10 tracks reunifying the band’s original members: Maria McKee, Ryan Hedgecock, Marvin Etzioni, and the late Don Heffington. The LP includes a mix of original compositions, traditional melodies, and classic country songs. Notably, the band pays homage to Dolly Parton with a rendition of “I Will Always Love You.” As a teaser, they have shared their version of the American folk standard along with a cover of The Undertones’ 1978 hit “Teenage Kicks.” Both tracks are available for listening below.

Here’s the Viva Lone Justice tracklist:
01 “You Possess Me”
02 “Jenny Jenkins”
03 “Rattlesnake Mama”
04 “Teenage Kicks”
05 “Wade In The Water”
06 “Nothing Can Stop My Loving You”
07 “Skull And Cross Bones”
08 “Alabama Baby”
09 “I Will Always Love You”
10 “Sister Anne”

Viva Lone Justice is scheduled for release on 10/25 through AFAR.
