Naima Bock’s upcoming album Below A Massive Dark Land is almost here. With the release drawing near, Bock introduced the album with singles like “Kaley,” “Further Away,” and “Gentle.” Today, she unveils another track in advance, titled “Feed My Release.” This new song showcases her captivating vocals and sophisticated pop-rock sound, characteristic of the British-Brazilian singer-songwriter.
Bock explained the inspiration behind the song:
“Feed My Release” delves into themes of regret. Initially, I didn’t consider it worthy of recording until I collaborated with violinist Oliver Hamilton, whose harmonies breathed new life into it. Holly Whitaker added her remarkable voice, alongside contributions from Cassidy Hansen, Clem Appleby, and Meitar Wegman, each adding their unique elements to the song. The collaborative effort truly shaped the current form of the track. Everyone’s input is invaluable to the arrangement and recording process.”

The album Below A Massive Dark Land will be released on 9/27 under Sub Pop.
