Miya Folick has unveiled a fresh track titled “La Da Da,” following her second album, Roach, released last year. Since then, she has covered songs by Annie Lennox, worked with Skinny Atlas, and contributed to the soundtrack for The Buccaneers.
Explaining the inspiration behind “La Da Da,” Folick shared, “I composed the song during a phase where I was intentionally stepping back from a lifestyle that didn’t align with me. I was learning to take it slow, decline requests, respond only when I had clarity, and voice my true desires instead of conforming to others’ expectations. I embraced the idea of taking longer to ensure things were done right.”
