Irish artist Maria Somerville has collaborated on tracks with Richard Russell’s project, Everything Is Recorded. She joined 4AD a few years back and performed a cover of Air Miami for the compilation album Bills & Aches & Blues. In her 2019 release, All My People, she infused Irish folk with post-punk and ambient drone influences, a style she carries forward in her latest single, “Projections.”
“Projections” showcases a dreamy pop vibe with Somerville’s soft vocals accompanied by airy guitars. This enchanting track marks her debut under 4AD.
