Machine Girl’s Latest Music Release: “Motherfather”
Machine Girl recently shared “Motherfather,” following the announcement of their upcoming album MG Ultra, set to be released in October after a five-year gap since their last album. The band had previously released “Until I Die” as the lead single.
While “Motherfather” leans towards a more conventional style for Machine Girl, it is far from dull. The song creatively blends pop melodies and breakbeats in its verses, leading into a chorus highlighted by powerful guitar riffs as they repeat the song’s title. The track comes with a visually captivating music video directed by John Lee, accompanied by a statement regarding the production:
The video for “Motherfather” was created without the use of generative AI. Director John Lee shared his anti-generative AI stance, and the video was crafted using a frame blending technique on original footage and 3D models, resulting in a uniquely unsettling visual experience.

The album MG Ultra will be available on 10/18 through Future Classic.
