Hear Maren Morris’ New Collab With MUNA & Tobias Jesso Jr.

Maren Morris has introduced her Intermission EP with the standout collaboration with Julia Michaels called “cut!” and the captivating ’60s-inspired catchy tune “i hope i never fall in love.” The complete EP has now been released, featuring a song co-written with MUNA and Tobias Jesso Jr., and produced by MUNA.

The energetic pop vibes of MUNA shine through on “push me over,” positioned in the middle of the EP. Morris shared on Instagram that naming the project Intermission was intentional. She explained:

It’s not just a lyric from the end of “Cut!,” but it also signifies that there is more to come. It marks a break in the act, and for me, it symbolizes a pause and a new chapter in my life. I’m excited to see what the next chapter holds. This music is a reflection of a challenging period and acts as a diary of those experiences.

After a recent odd wardrobe mishap (or perhaps a poorly designed skirt), Morris handled it with humor, as seen in her amusing TikToks. Listen to “push me over” below, as well as the entire EP.

@marenmorrisEvery time I see it in my closet, it gives me chills.
