Liquid Mike – “Man Dies” & “Man Lives” (Music on TunesDeck)

A power-pop group from Marquette, Michigan, known as Liquid Mike, gained recognition last year as a Stereogum Band To Watch. Their latest album, Paul Bunyan’s Slingshot, showcases their fun and energetic style. Currently, Liquid Mike is actively touring, performing at festivals, and collaborating with other artists like PONY’s side project Heavenly Sweetheart on the single “$300.” In addition to their recent success, Liquid Mike has released two new tracks, “Man Dies” and “Man Lives,” as part of the deluxe edition of Paul Bunyan’s Slingshot.

These new tracks, both around two minutes in length, offer contrasting vibes. “Man Dies” features a nervous and lively sound with echoes of The Rentals in its guitar work, while “Man Lives” delivers an anthemic rock anthem within a concise timeframe.
