Dismissal of Lawsuit Against Madonna for Late Concerts
In January, Madonna faced a lawsuit from two fans claiming her Brooklyn concert started later than advertised due to soundcheck issues. However, this suit has been dismissed. Meanwhile, another lawsuit is ongoing, alleging sexually explicit content during her performance.
According to the Hollywood Reporter, a fan named Justen Lipeles attended Madonna’s Los Angeles show in March and later filed a lawsuit in May. He claimed the concert contained unexpected pornography and topless women engaging in simulated sex acts. Lipeles also stated that Madonna arrived late and requested the venue’s air conditioning be turned off, leading him to feel unwell due to the heat.
The original class action lawsuit, as reported by TMZ, was voluntarily dismissed with prejudice by plaintiffs Michael Fellows and Jason Alvarez. This dismissal prevents them from refiling the charges. Additionally, no settlement was reached in this case.
